I had two servers with them 6 months back. May be now they would have improved. Hostgator use theplanet for their backend. I ve got respect for theplanet but they charge for you for even small things which other datacenters do not. If I would not have deals with datacenters in Dallas where speed is really good, i would have prefered theplanet for my datacenter. And rightly said, its not easy to manage servers, but dont you worry, you can always hire someone to do that for you.
