Hi,

I would like to see these features in future versions:

1. Easy deletion of images and categories- Right now I do it one by one. Time Consuming.
2. E-Card Plugin (Module) - Let users send images as greeting cards.
3. Use image captcha for registrations and commenting.
4. Block out html for comments and in other sections where users can post.
5. Favorite Images for members (Members should be able to add images to favourite section for later viewing.)
> Flash based slideshow with a list of favourite images.
6. Duplicate image finder by name or by other methods possible.
7. Link for users to report any type of images to admin.
8. Online limited template editor so webmasters can manage templates and place ads easily throughout the site.
9. Single category in multiple categories (Right now any given image can be put into multiple categories. I would like this feature to be implemented with categories.)
10. Limit number of images downloaded per day for non registered users.
11. Let users decide how many images to be displayed per page.
12. Let registered members select the resolution that they would like to see rather than going through images which doesn't have their desktop resolution wallpaper.
13. Custom signature for external forums or blogs. Example: http://mytivu.com/signature.jpg
14. Online ip mananger or host manager to ban hosts that link to images. (for abusers)

On WallpaperScript.com
a. Bug Tracking section
Users would post bugs they find in the script and they'll get a ticket #.
Once the bug is fixed then the posted bug report would be highlighted as fixed.

b. Limit the number of Latest Discussions shown on main page.
Make users go into each section to read so they would start to post in the right sections.

c. Merge affiliation and forum account together so users would only have to use one password.

Important suggestion:
1. Right now categories don't appear in search results. Adding them would get exposure to categories that never get seen by users.
(My site has more than 2,000 categories so this feature would help).

2. Show related images on image view section. (full view page or resolution selection page).

3. Ajax search suggestion

More suggestions will come once I think of them.

Nice list. For item 1 item above, I agree that categories should be listed in the search results. I think a related list of thumbs should also be displayed in the same format as the current layout.

Item #2 is very important, especially if you have a large DB of walls. It will help to get the walls not normally seen by users to be seen.

I would like my site to be like desktopnexus.com. Hoping future versions will get user friendly and more social. Any updates on modules?

Great ideas, I would love to see the 'Online limited template editor so webmasters can manage templates and place ads easily throughout the site' and also catgories appearing in search results also.

Possibly also an easy way to change the header through the admin panel also.

Nice find Wallpaperjoint! yeah.. I love the social networking feel of that site and there are definitely some functions on that site that I REALLY want.

Below are some I'd like to see in this script:

1 - allowing users to submit tag updates.
2 - allowing users to submit descriptions.
(items 1 & 2 above need to have the ability to moderate the changes. And also allow admins to enable or disable that functionality.)
3 - reporting wallpaper function that flags a wallpaper for review by the admin, allows users to describe why the wall was flagged, and drops it in a review queue. The wallpaper will still be visible until admin decides what to do with the wall. Delete, quarantine functions a must.

are crucial. Tags are to harness the group mentality and help make finding and sorting easier. Right now anyone who runs a large site knows that you can't tag every paper, and it isn't helpful at all currently.

Also on my list is a way for users to

1) Manage comments they've made, and so that logged in users have their username auto filled into the name part, and perhaps avatars.

2) Integrated Forum.

3) A system where users can earn "Points" by making comments, posting in the forum, uploading wallpapers. These points can then have set uses that the admin decides upon. Points can be charged (if desired) to download wallpapers, to up a daily download limit, or to buy "special" or "members only" wallpapers. This builds community.
