MemberI am with hostgator, best hosting service, very reliable.
I have dedicated server with them "Elite Dedicated Server" coast me 279$ per month. but its worth it.
if your site is small you can use their shared plans, starts from 4.95$.

@d4r344 .. review of bluehost is not good at all.. Do you think their service is good when compared with others ?
@Wallpappers-Master .. are you using your dedicated server only for wallpaper website ?

yaaa.. Bluehost and hostgator both are good.. My prefer is to go with bluehost because hostgator don't offer free domain and it is more price then bluehost(i think near 96$/year using 25$ cupon code offer = 71$ / 5.9$ per month)

Hey friend. Just simply go for hostgator. I have tried 9 different web hosting providers including bluehost, globat, yahoo and godaddy and i own my own dedicated server as well. But hostgator is THE best for such a website.

i had some good experience with hostmonster a few years back then :) over all every shared hosting is the same, they claim to provide unlimited space and bandwidth but when your site starts to grow and gains some good traffic they will force you to move to a dedicated server or VPS and their excuse will be that your site is using excessive amount of cpu memory, whatever company you choose they all provide the same thing. i can suggest you hostmonster

Zeero6.. hostgator is a good webhost.. but I am afraid of there plans.. by saying unlimited are they trying to oversell their servers.. ??

Yousafzay .. I think you must have started using shared hosting .. then migrated to VPS.. am I correct ? If this is the case.. can you tell us.. how is your experience with VPS ? Do we need to know all linux stuffs to run a VPS ?

well that could be both YES and NO, as there is the option of getting a managed and unmanaged VPS, if someone is a newbie and he doesn't know anything about Linux(like me) then managed VPS are the right choice out there. You will get a Cpanel(like shared hosting) and WHM where you can manage your server with lots of options. on the other hand Managed VPS are a bit expensive as compared to unmanaged one.

I will like to say a few things here. For Hostgator, their services are very good when it comes to shared hosting. But once your site grows beyond 4000 unique hits per day, you start consuming processes of the shared server and they wont let you do that. At any given time they do not allow any site on a shared server to occupy more than 25% of the server process load.
I have a major website with 6000 unique pageviews and around 25000 pageviews daily. It was running well on Hostgator with around 4000 hits and their support was phenomenal, but once it got to that point of consuming processor, they asked me to upgrade. I instead bought a friend's Virtual Dedicated Server. Since then, no issues at all.
For VPS, you can always have webmin admin panel installed by the service provider, with which all your needs are fulfilled and one doesn't need to know anything about linux commands and stuff. It gives you easy functionality to create MySql databases + FTP clients + Flie Manager + a separate area for phpmyadmin and a lot lot more.

As of now.. I think the difference between VPS and shared hosting is only the level of access to the system .. VPS also shares the same server ..
Do we really get a better performance in VPS compared hostgator 's shared hosting for an average traffic website.. ?

Hi, Guys.... i have 1000 to 1500 visits per day... with i think 6000 page views..... which hosting should i use... i was using shared hosting of ipower... they supported me but now ... they have kicked me... they suggest me to buy dedicated or VPS but i don't think so they can handle it... suggest me the best with good price.. and packages...

Hey let me tell you one thing.
First thing: Dedicated server is nice but costly. you will not able to pay the amount of 230$ every month. All your adsense earning will be used to server cost.
Second thing: Even i am the normal guy like you. Started with shared server and due to traffic and quality i upgraded to DEDICATED SERVER. Now all my earnings are used to my dedicated server.
Thats y i am searching for some clients to share the huge cost of dedicated server.
Why don't you try our server?

A dedicated server for wallpaper purposes never costs 230$. You're good at it at higly maximum 100$ and thats pretty less. Dont you think?
