  2. Hi!

You must run the installation of the script.

Try with a link like this:

    http://www.wallpapersbook.com/install/

Also after succesfull installation is recommended to delete install directory... even if well is not a problem it it remains there because other people do not know your database connection data.

  3. OK. Intallation completed. Then I remove install directory, but I cannot login:

The requested URL /login.html was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

  4. Hey,

I had the same problem when first installing the script.

It has something to do with the .htaccess file.

Use the contact form on wallpaperscript.com to email them your problem and send them your ftp information as well.

They took care of it for me.

  5. You don't have to send them the FTP info, but there is a simple fix for this - I was able to create a new .htaccess file in my directory and I just copied and pasted the information from the .htaccess that was included with the zip file.

CAREFUL! I recommend contacting a staff member for support and help on this if you are not familiar with .htaccess files - you can really mess up BIG TIME if you are not careful.

    EDIT**************
This is a really old post - but I didn't see the date - sorry for the BUMP - I did find the information useful, it directed me to the source of the problem :)

  6. If you get 404 error it means the .htaccess is not uploaded or is not parsed correctly.

  7. make sure your host supports overwriting .htaccess.
Some hosts will not allow that
