I am running this script on a boat load of sites. Every one of them is the latest version of the script. ALL of them have people spamming my site uploading bullshit ad's as wallpapers. How can I stop people from signing up all together. I don't see a captcha on the sign up form.

You are not one that suffered this, i am alos suffering this .
I guess that someone is using F...... Software to spam site, i deleted accounts may time but ,they kept on appearing so at last i removed registration for new users..by the way my capache is not working also ,
*if u want to disable registration, then simply edit register.tpl
Goto line 7 and change

by
<form name="registerForm" action="??register.php" method="post">it is handy and also prevent submission of registration data to Database.

This is not something to worry about. You need to enable the wallpaper before it starts to show on the website to everyone. Simply delete all the spam wallpapers.

use recaptcha .. it block 80% spam .. i just tried it and it works fine
